The rest of July...

Before we went on vacation, we planted seeds... On the left: yellow squash, center: cantaloupe, right: zucchini.

We had some sunflowers.... Okay, one REALLY big one!! We planted some others but they turned out wimpy compared to this one, as you'll see later!

And some tomatoes!

Since it was summer, we went swimming! Kolby in his bathing suit...

Then Aunt Loretta's Dad passed away so we went over to OK for the funeral. Great Grandpa C was glad to get to hold Kolby.

While the singers were practicing singing, Daddy and Kyle were out letting out some energy!

Here's a zucchini... And all our vegetables (except the tomatoes) got tested by the night life before we had a chance for ripe ones! Perhaps next year???

Gardening in June

We garden in pots since we haven't figured out where we want one, really. So, here we have a sunflower starting...

The lilies come up every year all by themselves... Nice when that happens! :)

Blog name ideas...

Since I've been SO creative lately (NOT) I thought I'd ask for my reader's help (if there are any left)! My blog name has been bothering me since it uses our last name so if I can (not sure if it will let me change and keep my content) I would like to change the address. I would prefer not to use the state - what if we move??? or our last name... Any ideas? The "winner" will get public recognition on our site!!! :)
