Look how much I've grown!!

Some friends were visiting and needed a baby seat for while they were in the area so we got ours down from the attic! After it came back, it didn't go up in the attic right away... Kyle thought it was pretty great! Wonder just how much he's grown since we brought him home! :)

Birthday Boy - 2 years old!!

Camping!!

We went camping at Lake Wedington in Fayetteville with Nathan, Jordan, Kaleb, Ryan, Dalene and Aaron on Friday night and Saturday! We had a great time and can't wait to go back! Very nice place!

Getting to be a big boy!!!

Last night Kyle slept in his new bed until 3 am! I had just laid down there with him to get some cuddle time and when I got up to put him in his crib he wanted to stay! So, he was awake when I left him and snoring everytime I checked on him!

This morning he wanted breakfast (hungry) and while I was making eggs with cheese he came with an apple (a bite already missing!) and he's working on his 2nd waffle. I think he may be making up for the last couple days hardly eating anything, what do you think?! :)

He's also been saying "Daddy at work."

Counting: 1 2 3 (really fast) and yesterday we practiced blowing for his birthday candles next week! :)

Question of the day...

Today on the way to meeting Kyle got carsick. Now, we live over an hour from this meeting and we were basically almost there. We pulled over, cleaned him as best we could, and went onto meeting. When we got to meeting, I took him into the bathroom and gave him a quick bath in the tub and put his clean play clothes on before we went in.

A Busy Saturday

We had a busy Saturday! We went to help Kathy and Cindy do a garage sale (no pictures, of course) and then to a birthday party in OK for Cousin Gannon's first birthday! A great time was had by all eating hamburgers, hotdogs, many sides and cake! The kids had a great time playing ball, pinata, playground and water! Next time we know to bring towels... :)

Crafting and Tastefully Simple

Kyle and I went to a local craft fair - new in our town - and enjoyed seeing the neat exhibits! We then had overpriced fair food and went home for a nap!


Okay, Kyle had a nap while I frantically made the stuff for the Tastefully Simple Party in the evening! While Del was vaccuuming and I was putting the finishing touches on the kitchen etc Kyle came out like this...

Brenda B was our demonstrator, Jason, Jake, Dawn Brooklyn, Kendra, Del, Kyle and I were the attendees! So, not a huge showing but a blast tasting and visiting! :)

Wiggle Worm

We pulled some weeds out around a rose bush and a HUGE worm came out (okay, he doesn't look huge in Kyle's hand but when he stretched out, he really was). Kyle was a little apprehensive at first... :) But, by the time he was done picking up the worm and dropping it, the poor worm wasn't worth much. However, unless a bird picked it up, it managed to muster enough energy to disappear! We thought about calling Dalene to come get it since they were going fishing! Wonder if they've posted pictures of their fishing trip yet... :)

Words...

Kyle has so many words it is hard to remember them all but some of his newer ones are {riiiiight there} with a very Southern drawl - that's where something goes. His cup {water or milk}, his paci {papis}, his bear, his tractor - you name it, that's where it goes. Yesterday he was {hungry} and got a Gogurt out of the fridge for me to help him - he's a little over-zealous on the squeezing - and he pointed at the floor and said {sit down right there}! He's also started hollering {Mom} when he wants me or doesn't know where I am. So, right now, I need to go get him out of his bed!
